Ever wonder why you get bored of certain things?

Boredom becomes a thing when you feel you could use your time for something more valuable than your current situation. Ever wonder why you get bored of certain things? It is because it has become less intriguing or monotonous for you and because of that your mind no longer derives pleasure or finds it intriguing to continue on that path If you experience boredom in anything or find yourself feeling bored it's simply your mind telling you that you need to do something else that is more intriguing than your current situation. If the current situation still holds interest in your mind then you wouldn’t feel any need for something else, but if it doesn't then you start feeling like you are wasting your time on those activities and that you could be using your time for more fulfilling things aside from that. However, because we are naturally attracted to anything pleasurable that sparks those electric feelings in us and keeps us on the edge of "intrigueness" and discoverin...

Belief can bend reality

Indeed it can change your reality and make it better if you know how to apply its powers Believing means trusting even without any evidence or beam of light of the possibility that something can happen or that something will happen, yet you trust that it will happen Belief is like a magic wand that can give you that which you desire if you trust that it can  When you believe in something or that something will happen it is important to state that for it to take its full course and expend its magical ability, you have to have an unwavering and near-blind trust it will manifest  When there is no trust in the belief process then it will be an adventure of the follies Many things have been achieved on the hills of absolute belief without doubt, so for you to activate its powers you must rid your mind and consciousness of doubts of any kind A very good and popular example is religion The belief in the mighty powers of Jesus Christ has led many Christians to experience many unexplai...

Would you rather do what is right or what is necessary?

This is a subjective argument to have and I have found it interesting to talk about This is so because if we go by the norms of what is obtainable in various climes today, many people are more inclined to do what they believe is necessary than what is supposedly right And this can easily be seen as coming from the angle of survival, sustenance, or greed Looking out for oneself in every way can make it easy for one to always be tilted towards doing what they believe to be necessary rather than what is right What is right might not always give the result that one is looking for and thus will easily be giving the back bench where necessity calls To further give this a pictorial illustration, imagine the situation of war War as we might be inclined to think is not a good thing and this is not right, because during wars people are killed and properties destroyed This in itself is what anyone in their right senses will think, however, this doesn't stop wars from happening Whether it is r...

Challenges are meant to be defeated and not evaded

In the times that we live in today, having an easy pass is gradually becoming the norm and people are putting it on a pedestal of accomplishment Life is meant to be challenging and also rewarding However, the seeking of an easy pass is gradually overcoming the need for strength, skill, and experience. This is so because many people have been sucked into the idea that the end justifies the means and so they do not need to go through the rigor of challenges of the process before achieving something, but rather they can take a shortcut and as long as they get the trophy that's all that matters Forgetting that with challenges comes experience and strength because overcoming a challenging task or situation will require that you skill up, apply strength, or be tenacious. This for one now becomes the benefits of the challenges, because if you skilled-up so that you can able to overcome a challenging task, then that skill remains with you and can also be employed for the same challenge in ...

Delaying failure is a losing strategy

Stop trying to delay failures. It's a losing strategy, make them quick and move on. In this post, I want to cover the concept of making your failures quick and moving on to something else that will probably be better Delaying failures as we know is when you are in a situation, where you already know that something is not working or that it is not going to work or you have done as much as you can do or as much as your capacity can carry, but yet, it is not working, and at this point your intuition is telling you that this is not going to work and you have seen the signs but you keep holding on to it.  You keep delaying the fact that this is already a failure.  You need to stop and re-strategize.  You need to change your strategy and move on to something better instead of holding on to it. I get it that we do these things because of motivation and the nostalgic feeling of accepting that we have failed and also the thought of accepting failure too early when we could have do...

To get Sound Result you need a Clear Mind

In this post, I would like to talk about having a clear mind, because when you have a clear mind, you get to think clearly, you get to think deeper and you get to form a good thought of what you're thinking about. This is related to the example of what I'm going through, like putting out posts on my blog. This is something I desire to do often but I fail to do it a lot of times because I don't seem to have a clear mind many times. This could be because sometimes I get distracted by one thing or the other that I'm working on and the like.  So it gets to a point where I don't have the motivation to sit down and write. I don't get the right push that is important for me to decide to write something. Even if I sit down sometimes, and I'm thinking of writing, the ideas will not just flow and I had to come to a realize what was causing it was Distractions and stress! These said distractions come in the form of news, and social media updates, while the stress com...

What I learned from "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu

The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise written by Sun Tzu, a military strategist, around the 5th century BC.  It is considered one of the most influential texts on military strategy and has been applied to various fields beyond warfare, including business, politics, and personal development.  In the book, Sun Tzu emphasized the importance of careful planning, efficient execution, and understanding the nature of conflict.  The book covers topics such as assessing the enemy and oneself, strategic positioning, tactical maneuvers, and the effective use of resources.  It further emphasized the importance of adaptability, deception, and psychological warfare when you want to gain an advantage over opponents. Here are some of the important points from the book. 1. Strategy and Planning: Sun Tzu emphasizes the significance of strategy and planning before engaging in any conflict.  He stresses the importance of understanding the terrain, assessing ...
